I’m very curious about players’ and game designers’ thoughts on the topic of reality and fiction in ARGs. I am very thankful to those who have shared their experiences, ideas and thoughts on my research-thread on the unfiction forum. Please join in!
Current research project:
The blurring of the borders of reality and fiction is the subject of my post-doctoral research project “Real Virtuality” for which the Swiss National Science Foundation has provided a two years’ grant. While that textual strategy of mixing different formats in the realm between the real and the fictional occurs in many, also non digital media, I am currently focusing on the cross media phenomena of ARGs, alternate reality games.
